Life and what it throws at us…

Saturday, August 11th, 2007

Some time ago my wife was diagnosed with kidney disease. This particular case baffled the doctors. IGA Nephropathy usually takes ~25-30 years to deteriorate the kidneys to dialesis. Helen’s were so bad they were saying 2-3 years. Bit of a blow…

Back in June we went to Canada. There was some doubt as to whether we could go or not. Well, Helen suddenly began to get better. Her kidney function was on it’s way up - excellent news. Then whilst we were away she was prayed for for healing. For the rest of the trip she had no pain whilst travelling (we covered ~3000km) and she went walking and mountain biking without experiencing the dizziness she had become so used to. I believed she had been healed.

Helen has since gone for a check up and found her kidney function and haemoglobin have dropped not improved. rubbish.

I believe God is sovereign over everything and i trust him although i don’t understand. I have learnt a lot through this time and was convinced this lesson was over. It would appear not. I wonder what else God will teach me through this.

Helen’s kidney function is 63% and haemoglobin is 102.

Suicide.jpg

Yep. Our suicidal carpenter balanced a chair on a window ledge and his work bench. i feel i should add at this point we are 2 floors up with good old spikey railings at the bottom.

When asked what he would do if he fell he responded: “Just push yerself out so you don’t land on the spikes…”

Good luck mate!

Spyware Heaven.jpg

This was AdAware’s report on a single PC. I should add that this was NOT a deep scan. A deep scan found a further 500 ish items!!!

That has to be a record???

Sorry about the black lines… camera frequency clashed with monitor frequency!

What not to do with a still under warrenty Sony VAIO

SonyVAIO.jpg

What do you do when someone asks you to extract a hard disk from a still under warrenty Sony VAIO??? They needed the machine back pronto… so we ripped it apart!

Unlike any other machine - where you can get to the parts - Sony hide them all inside with no access except through total destruction!

The great news is we got it all back together and working with a new hard disk… happy client!!!!

Oh the irony…
