MTBing - Sat 11th March
Started out at Dreghorn and headed up the valley to the right of Allermuir. The more we climbed the wetter and snowier it became. Finally I was defeated and had to walk!
At the top we stopped for a breather and a couple of photos.
Took a right at the top and fumbled our way round the hill and down towards Bonaly… Decided due to the snow not to carry on further into the hills. This is where the fun began as we left the snow behind us….
Moving quite quickly down the hill (about 20-23mph) my front wheel disappeared from beneath me and over I went…
As you can see the ground was wet and muddy! Excellent fun riding but very cold!!!
We finished down at Dreghorn. Got a puncture so called it a day. We were very close to home so left it at that.
Disappointed it was so short but great fun all the same!
